The 16th World Elevator & Escalator Expo, sponsored by China Elevator Association and China Center For International Economic And Technological Exchange, will be held at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai) from May 8 to 11, 2024. The exhibition area will reach 110,000 square meters, with 1,100 exhibitors and 120,000 professional visitors expected. According to the latest data, the number of elevators in China has exceeded 10 million (including household elevators), an increase of 9.6% year-on-year. The market size is about 508.9 billion yuan. It is expected that the elevator industry will maintain double-digit growth in the next five years, and the replacement demand for the stock market will develop rapidly. It is expected that by 2027, the market size of China’s elevator industry is expected to reach 709 billion yuan, with a compound annual growth rate of about 6.7%.
