System Integration for the Future – The BRUsystem by BRUGG Lifting
The BRUsystem is BRUGG Lifting’s Elevator Traction Solution, combining advanced suspension technologies (coated belts or CTP ropes) with a modular traction architecture.
It integrates traction media, matched drive with sheave, diverter pulleys, and reliable terminations into a technically coordinated unit. The result is maximum efficiency with reduced complexity from planning through operation.
Factory-matched components minimize installation effort, maintenance, and testing time. Precisely manufactured parts and controlled interfaces ensure smooth operation, high reliability, and energy efficiency.
Designed for low- and mid-rise buildings, the BRUsystem is equally suitable for new installations and modernizations. With its compact design, operational safety, and optimized power transmission, it fulfills the requirements of modern elevator traction solutions.
BRUsystem with BRUbelt® or CTP® – Two Solutions, One Concept
BRUsystem with BRUbelt®
The BRUbelt® is a coated flat belt made of high-tensile steel cords encased in wear-resistant polyurethane. This design allows smaller traction sheaves, compact drives, and quiet, low-vibration operation.
Since the BRUbelt® operates without lubrication, it is clean, maintenance-free, and environmentally friendly.
With its flexibility and compact design, the BRUbelt® is suitable for both new installations and modernization projects, making it an ideal solution where space efficiency and architectural adaptability are required.
BRUsystem with CTP® Rope
The CTP® rope is a solid steel rope coated with TPU, offering high dimensional stability and precise friction control. It was developed for applications that demand maximum load capacity and long service life. The even power transmission between rope and traction sheave reduces wear and ensures smooth operation with minimal energy consumption.
With its durability, safety, and low maintenance needs, the CTP® rope is suitable for both new installations and modernization projects, delivering maximum operational reliability over the entire lifecycle.
